Mercury Electronics was founded in 1946 under the name Mercury Engineering Company. A 5,000 square foot structure was built in York, PA for the purpose of manufacturing cables, harnesses, and electrical wire assemblies. Diversified Traffic Products was established in 1978 in York, PA and functioned as an assembler and distributor of traffic signal and traffic control devices. In 1979, Diversified Traffic Products acquired Mercury Electronics and incorporated under the name Mercury Electronics, Division of Diversified Traffic Products.
The company has continued to prosper and grow, enjoying several expansions and location changes to accommodate the increased production demands. Mercury relocated to its current 68,000 square foot facility situated on a 15-acre site in Seven Valleys, PA in March of 2006.
Due to the growth of the company, we now proudly employ over 200 full time team members.
